Catrina and her family are moving to the coast of Northern California because her little sister, Maya, is sick. Cat isn't happy about leaving her friends for Bahía de la Luna, but Maya has cystic fibrosis and will benefit from the cool, salty air that blows in from the sea. As the girls explore their new home, a neighbor lets them in on a secret: There are ghosts in Bahía de la Luna. Maya is determined to meet one, but Cat wants nothing to do with them. As the time of year when ghosts reunite with their loved ones approaches, Cat must figure out how to put aside her fears for her sister's sake -- and her own.

Raina Telgemeier has masterfully created a moving and insightful story about the power of family and friendship, and how it gives us the courage to do what we never thought possible.

I LOVE this book. It's about a girl named Catrina who moved to the coast of Northern California. Her sister, Maya has cystic fibrosis and the air from the sea is better for her. There is a boy named Carlos who keeps talking about ghosts. Catrina is scared while Maya is interested and wants to meet them. One day, Carlos takes them to meet ghosts. Maya is too exited and accidentally hurt herself. She turns up into the hospital. At the time of the year, ghosts reunite. Maya is still sick and tells Catrina to see the ghosts for her. Catrina put aside her fears and makes friends with them. I really like the relationship between Catrina and Maya. I definitely recommend this book and rate it five stars. I hope you enjoy it!

"Ghosts" Raina Telgemeier, This book is about ghosts, and la dia de Los muertos. They went to a dark place where they found a boy that the place that they were standing in was haunted. Also if you did not know Maya got seperated from her best friend. And she moved to a place where people believed in ghosts but Maya was the only one that did not believe in ghosts until she saw a real one her sister Cat fainted because of all the energy.

I absolutely love this book! I love the relationship Cat and Maya have. Shes very loving to her sister and she protects her like a great older sister she is! I like how when she began going to school she was able to make good friends and they were super nice and kind towards her. I like how in the end she meet with this old woman ghost and they got along nicely. In the end Cat thought that their Grandmother didn't come but instead their ghost of their grandmother made them lots of food for them. I would rate this book 5 stars!

I love this book because I think this book is a great book and that most people would love this book just like me and it makes me happy. I got scared when Maya Cat's smaller sister was going to die but she lived. The sad part is that Cat and Maya didn't get to see their grandmother. Also another part I liked was when they got to see other spirits on Day of The Dead and the end is a happy ending.

I REALLY LOVE this book i read drama, smile ,guts and now ghosts so good really makes me happy and i already am reading for the 10th time lol

Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier is about a girl named Kat who moves to Bahia de la Luna due to her sister's condition. At first Kat isn't the fondest of the city, but she meets friends and new people, and gets to enjoy the wonderful annual festival that celebrates the Day of the Dead (or so I think, since my memory is foggy). All in all, it's a good book, and a good recommendation.

I have the book ghosts and I recommend reading it because its just awesome. So whenever you have time go read the book ghosts

Kat doesn't want to move, especially not to spooky Bahia de la Luna. But she knows it's for her sister with cystic fibrosis. As she discovers new friends, and signs that maybe Ghosts are real, she realizes that maybe it won't be as bad as she thinks. Things are not always what they seem after all.

I definitely recommend Ghosts! It teaches a lot about culture while also keeping the storyline, and it is very well illustrated as well.
