The Baudelaire children are stranded once again, this time on an island with mystery hidden beneath the 'kindness'. The leader of this island knows that the Baudelaires are hiding something. What he doesn't know is that Count Olaf is hiding something too. He has an extremely deadly mushroom that he could unleash on the island at any moment. As they bide their time, they find out more about the island, and more about who their parents really were. They learn that the most important things are usually hidden. I felt like this book sort of ended in midair. It was very good, and very sad.

You are presumably looking at the back of this book, or the end of the end. The end of the end is the best place to begin the end, because if you read the end from the beginning of the beginning of the end to the end of the end of the end, you will arrive at the end of the end of your rope.
This book is the last in A Series of Unfortunate Events, and even if you braved the previous twelve volumes, you probably can't stand such unpleasantries as a fearsome storm, a suspicious beverage, a herd of wild sheep, an enormous bird cage, and a truly haunting secret about the Baudelaire parents.
It has been my solemn occupation to complete the history of the Baudelaire orphans, and at last I am finished. You likely have some other occupation, so if I were you I would drop this book at once, so the end does not finish you.

i think the book was good
I desided to read this book because I am all most done with the series of unfortunate events. I hope count olaf dies in this book.
I love the entire series. I have read the book more than 20 times each book. I do wish that this series could continue in other ways such as another series but the stories are related to these books. The books were great and the series are my favorite!
I love the Lemony Snicket series of Unfortunate events.
I read one of these fabulous books in 4th grade and loved it so I decided to read the whole series! The end of this book is pretty sad but I still enjoyed the whole series! I am looking forward to reading more amazing chapter books written by Lemony Snicket! :) :D

This book was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! I have spent two school years reading the series, and I have to say, this was such a good ending for the series! Summary: The orphans had travled from the hotel to a island with count Olaf! they are welcome their and have made a new friend named Friday. And.... find out for yourself!!!
