When Dav Pilkey began drawing pictures of an underwear-clad, wedgie-giving superhero as a second grader, his teacher said, "You'd better start taking life more seriously, because you can't spend the rest of your days making silly books!" Luckily for us, Dav didn't listen, and Captain Underpants was born. Now, kids everywhere can enjoy this special edition of the book that started it all--with an awesome lenticular cover and a super-cool value-added component that's so amazing, so fun, and so top-secret that you'll just have to buy it to find out!

Well I like this book a lot. This is my favorite book because it's very funny and it's interesting to read the book. Well there is 10 books till now. Well my favorite book is the and Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People. Well my I started reading Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman. Well this book is good for children under 9-11. Well the captain underpants a principle named Mr.Krupp. well his hypnotize by two kids named George and Harold to make him think he is Captain Underpants.

When I originally started reading The Adventures of Captain Underpants I was not really looking forward to it. I knew that it was under my reading level but I decided to read it for the summer reading program. The book was surprising. Although it is mostly comics and drawings, the plot line was still very interesting and I have never read anything like it. The basic plot line is formed when two trouble-making best friends try to hypnotize their principal who happens to hate them. They succeed, but they accidently hypnotize him into thinking that he is Captain Underpants, the main character in one of their comics. The two boys then have to follow their principal around, and keep him out of trouble. I suggest this book as reading material for kids with their parents and younger kids, I would say under 10.

i read it because of my siblings they said it was a great book but for me there was way to many inappropriate parts for my liking.
