When Dav Pilkey began drawing pictures of an underwear-clad, wedgie-giving superhero as a second grader, his teacher said, "You'd better start taking life more seriously, because you can't spend the rest of your days making silly books!" Luckily for us, Dav didn't listen, and Captain Underpants was born. Now, kids everywhere can enjoy this special edition of the book that started it all--with an awesome lenticular cover and a super-cool value-added component that's so amazing, so fun, and so top-secret that you'll just have to buy it to find out!

I like all that captain underpants! he is so silly! George and hearold make a good job making their princabal look like their comic book character!
I love this book! It's full of humor and is by far the best comedy book I have read in a while. The author did an amazing job in writing this book.
To me, this book is nothing but full of appropriate humor for kids of all ages and will surely make you smile. The author did a great job in understanding the demands of kids and I recommend this book to even teens!
I enjoyed this book because two boys who fool around a lot accidentally hypnotized their principal into thinking that he was a superhero named captain underpants! The story was very funny.
I would recommend someone to read this book. I would recommend someone to read it because it is about two naughty boys that play pranks and jokes. Mr.Krupp their principal, does not like them, so he caught them playing pranks once. He had a video tape and decided to give it to their parents. Then he said he might give it to the school board. Finally he said he would give it to the school football team (the two put the pranks on them). Then the two students (Harold and George) said the football team would kill them. They said they would do anything. Mr.Krupp gave them stacks of rules to spoil himself. They washed his car, washed his windows, polished his desk, mowed his lawn, and much more. After they did what they needed to, they got extra homework. Both boys wanted to run away, but George had a Hypno-Ring magazine, the ring hypnosis people. They bought the ring. When they got the ring they hypnosis Mr.Krupp. They turned him into Captain Underpants a hero they made up and Captain Underpants took off to save the city. When he tried to stop to evil robots, they drove to their boss in a place. Captain Underpants got noticed so he got tied up. George and Harold untied Captain Underpants and Captain Underpants saved the world by not making the moon explode onto every major city on Earth. When they got to school they tried to hypnosis him back to Mr.Krupp. It didn't work, so George poured water onto Captain Underpants. Now he was Mr.Krupp. Mr.Krupp did not know why he was wet. So he gave the video tape to the football team. But, it was the wrong tape! When he got hypnosis, he gave them the real tape. There was another tape too!
I like these stories. They are so goofy! I really like to read them during the school year. When I am bored during class, I always imagine one of these stories and it cracks me up!
This book looked interesting but the plot was not good and this book made no sense i would not recommend this book
This was a funny book. I like it and would recommend it to ages 7-10. I enjoyed the creative and funny plotline and the flip pages. I would recommend this book to kids who like comics ,superheroes, action, and comedy.
It begins when geroge and harold get this ring that makes weird stuff happens. They did a terrible mistake by making their princabal into captain under pants. (george's and harold's fanmade charcter from a book series they made.
