I LOVED šthis book!!! It was an amazing book. I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 11. I donāt think that 3-6 is the right reading level though. There is some swearing and talk about romance. I read this book in 7th grade. I finished the series. It had a great ending it balanced out the perfect amount of romance and adventure. I recommend this book to everyone who wants to read it.

The New York Times bestselling first book in a dark new series that reimagines the Oz saga, from debut author Danielle Paige.
I didn't ask for any of this. I didn't ask to be some kind of hero. But when your whole life gets swept up by a tornadoātaking you with itāyou have no choice but to go along, you know?
Sure, I've read the books. I've seen the movies. I know the song about the rainbow and the happy little blue birds. But I never expected Oz to look like this. To be a place where Good Witches can't be trusted, Wicked Witches may just be the good guys, and winged monkeys can be executed for acts of rebellion. There's still a road of yellow brickābut even that's crumbling.
What happened? Dorothy. They say she found a way to come back to Oz. They say she seized power and the power went to her head. And now no one is safe.
My name is Amy Gummāand I'm the other girl from Kansas. I've been recruited by the Revolutionary Order of the Wicked. I've been trained to fight. And I have a mission: Remove the Tin Woodman's heart. Steal the Scarecrow's brain. Take the Lion's courage. AndāDorothy must die.

I am on page 256/452 in this book something sad happen but that would be a spoiler it's so good I wish that this would be a movie
I REALLY want to read this book. It was at a book fair at my school. I saw it and wanted it SUPER bad!
In this book there's a girl name Amy Ever since 3rd grade she lived in trailer and was bullied by many people. Then she got to high school and a tornado hit causing her to go to OZ just like Dorothy except here's the deal.Dorothy came back to OZ and became princess even though there was another princess.Every time Dorothy got something she wanted she wanted even more. She turned Evil causing some of the people we know best to turn Evil too.Amy is the other girl from Kansas and her missions is to make sure Dorothy dies.Frankly the bad witches just might be the good ones...
Ummm, I wouldnt reccomend this for 3rd and 4th graders
It says that it's for 9-12 graders, but the reading level is 3-4 grade
I'm reading at a younger age then 9th grade and I don't have a problem with this But if this book was a movie it would probably be rated PG-13
