I ended my 2017 reading year with this book. And I could not have lucked out with a better one. Brodie is a dog - a very good dog - who has died. Rather than let go and move on to Forever, Brodie chooses to return to our world to save Aidan, his boy, from danger. What entails is an adventure so unique that I couldn’t put this book down. Good Dog is BEAUTIFUL. An omniscient narrator tells the story, occasionally breaking from his POV to address the reader, which connected me to Brodie and Aidan more and more. The flashbacks Brodie experienced as memories of his past with Aidan came flooding back were vivid, sometimes excruciating, and always intentional in ways that kept me guessing. Gemeinhart’s use of imagery only added to that vividness. But the best part? Brodie’s VOICE. So singular, original, and pure, highlighting the bond between this dog and his boy. I fell in love with Brodie from the jump, laughing and crying as he worked to complete his quest. He is a character I will remember forever. This book is, in my opinion, one for the middle-grade ages, teaching kids that heroism is a choice that can come in any form.

Let me start with saying this is the best book I have ever read before!my favorite page is foods that fool you .you know how frosted flakes in commercials look so perfect with that milk!?well guess wha!?they use glue!and one this page it tells other crazy facts about what people do to make food look perfect !also lots of other secrets revealed.I actually won this book from dogo and I am so glad I did I love it so so so much!I recommend this book to all ages I rate this book 5/5 stars 😁 😁 Pizzagirl7 😁 😁

This hilarious book is about a cat and a dog. But not just any normal house pets, Queenie (the cat) and Arthur (the dog) will do everything they can to keep there owner's hotel in business- despite their disliking of each other. But when there is a murder in the out in the surrounding mountains, and hint of a hidden treasure, Queenie and Arthur have to team up like never before in order to stop the treasure seekers that will do anything- even murder- to get their hands on gold. This book had me laughing every few minutes, and is a great read if you feel the need to laugh.

The cringe is unbearable. For god's sake, it's as if the author was like "Ok, I'm done." and googled like 50 horrible unfunny jokes.

Stink is an awesome book. Everyone should read this book. You will learn a lot of facts about sea animals. It also has funny parts. Another good reason is it’s a series. This book is about Stink Moody. He is afraid of sleepovers and he has to go to one. It is at the aquarium. His friends are going too. Their names are Webster and Sophie. Then they go on a scavenger hunt. They learn about jellyfish, sharks, and squid. One reason to read Stink is that he is Judy Moody’s little brother. I loved the book because it had facts. It has a surprise ending.

This book is about how the stone of fire was stolen. I enjoyed this book because it had comedy. If you like comedy and adventure, you will like The Stone of Fire-Jacob

"Wait till helen comes"is a great book.It's about this 12-year-old girl named Molly,10-year-old Michael,their mother,Dave(their stepfather),and Heather, their seven-year-old stepsister who is mean and cruel to them.Every chance she gets,she lies to get them into trouble.the children get the news that they are moving into this old church in the country.Nobody is happy about this except for the parents.When they get there,they find a graveyard behind the house.Heather finds a grave alone,and she starts talking to a ghost named Helen.They have a lot in common because of what each of them did.(you have to find out).Helen is lonely and dangerous because she lures children into the pond by a burned down house she used to live in.Anyway,Molly is deathly afraid of the graveyard and especially when Heather tells them to "Wait till helen comes.You will regret you ever did anything to me"Read it to find out the rest!It wasn't that scary for me but I still enjoyed the book alot.Recommended for anyone who likes mystery/scary/ghost stories.<3

Really funny book. Paddington is found on the Paddington station so that is why they call him that. He gets into trouble a LOT! Really interesting book and good to read. It is appropriate for all ages as long as you read chapter books. LOVE IT!!! I give it 5 stars!!

After I read The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin,I checked online to see if there were any other books written by her.So I found this book.Even though the story is interesting and exciting,I don't like the main character,Mona.she is too impatient and grumpy.But otherwise,the story is great.

After I read Amelia Writes Again by Marissa Moss,I searched online to see if there were any books written by her.Then I realised the Amelia books were a set!My mom bought it for me,and I read this one first.The story is extremely funny,with goofy pictures,silly games and a great story.
