Eleven-year old Pru is still dealing with the death of her father, a former Police agent, when she finds a mysterious card in her room, asking “Who is the unbelievable FIB?” She can’t resist a good mystery, so she teams up with the new kid at school, ABE, to figure out what’s going on. Then, a mysterious man named Mr. Fox asks for their help investigating the mythical being invading their town. That’s just the beginning, and soon they discover another world beneath their town, and realize they must find the eye of Odin before anybody else if they want to stop a war that could destroy both the worlds. I thought this was a good book! It has elements of mystery, and it fun to try and stay ahead of the plot. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy books like Rick Riordan’s, as it is about Norse mythology.

I think this book was very well written. It all flowed together and it filled in the blanks exceptionally well.

I am reading the Divergent Series currently and want to learn more about Four/Tobias. Veronica Roth is a great author so I trust that this book will be great.

Such an amazing book! I've read so many books and Enjoy these so much. There probably one of my favorite books! I would suggest them. They are shorter but they do have more than one book in the series. If you are younger and get scared easily I would not tell you to read these books. There not scary to me just a great book ;)

Some people say that this book isn't as good as the others in the series, and I disagree with that. This book has many surprise twists and is a very cool look at during and right after the sun flares as opposed to 10+ years in the future. You also get the backstory of a character in Maze Runner, and how the virus (the flare) spread. I would recommend this book to anyone who liked the Maze Runner trilogy. 5/5!

I know I loved it, and read it 5 times in a row!

It was kinda funny. It is a great book for middle schoolers. That are girls. Boys can't handle this type of stuff. I mean unless you're one of those boys who would rather do girl stuff. I don't discriminate. Anyways, this book was pretty good.

But on his first mission everything becomes real. And Alex to the surprise of his teammates and family, saves the life an enemy. He insists that it was a fluke, a rare accident, but deep down he knows that he doesn't want to kill. And he begins to question everything that the Cloak society stands for. Soon he is faced with a choice. His family, friends, and legacy. Or a new friend, and what he believes is right. I really enjoyed how easy it was to understand the characters emotions, and I honestly hope a second book comes out, seeing as it ended on a small, but irritating cliffhanger.
