This Book starts off with Brian parents divorce that left Brian heart Broken. Since this matter has appeared Brian has to move from New York to Canada to live with his father and took a plane by himself at only the age 13. However , it did not go as planned and Brian has to survive. With the hatchet he got from his mom he was able to do many things to help him survive but he was struggling with food so he ate a lot of berries. Brian experienced a lot of troubles like the porcupine , the moose, and tornado but these things made him mentaly stronger. Brain changed and he started to observe things more slowly and think about what he was going to say before he said it. And it was all thanks to the “SECRET”! My favorite part was when Brian started observing the forest more and catching his own food because if it were me I would be very proud of myself . I would rate this book a 4.5 out of 5 because it was very interesting and mysterious. You want to read more to see what happens but I feel the reading part was not challenging enough and it was pretty easy to read but it did include a lot of details and was well organized. So I would recommend this book. I think that Brian is a very smart and determined person with a great personality and never backs down when things get tough.
