‘The Catcher in the Rye’ is an amazing exploration of a teenager’s quest to find the meaning of life and transitioning from an adolescent to an adult, all while navigating life’s hurdles. I personally can relate to a lot of the thoughts that the main character (Holden Caulfield), expresses. However, I thought that some of the scenes in the novel were not realistic, especially nowadays, but nonetheless I will still rate this five stars because I can relate to Holden on a pretty personal level and I believe a lot of other people my age can as well.

‘Of Mice and Men’ by John Steinbeck is an amazing book that grasps universal themes, has historical significance, and has an impact on literature and culture. Firstly, this novella discusses themes such as fate, loneliness, and companionship, all of which resonate with most of its readers. It also is historically significant because it captures the struggle of the Great Depression, which gives a insight into a crucial time in American History. It also highlights issues like economic hardship, disability, racism, and sexism which are still topics that are relevant today. ‘Of Mice and Men’ also has impacted literature and culture because it is frequently studied in schools, which shape discussions on literature, ethics, and society, as well as having multiple adaptations in theater, film, and radio, showing its lasting influence. This book’s ending also leaves readers reflecting on friendship, fate, and the harsh realities, which is part of why ‘Of Mice and Men’ remains such a powerful novel even 88 years after it’s original publication.

I can't believe I'm writing a book review on a website I used about six years ago for class. Anyway, I've watched the movie, the (newly released) TV show, and I have the game. Now, that I am a proud owner of this comic series I can tell you that it is a must-read. This story is about a man named Scott Pilgrim who starts dating a 17-year-old high school girl, Knvies Chau, but will eventually have to break up with her when he finds the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers. She is a delivery girl for Amazon and she just moved to Toronto, Canada. In order for Scott and Ramona to continue dating, Scott must defeat all of Ramona's seven evil exs. It has a great story, amazing characters, and is a great comedie.
